CNC vertical latheIn order to maintain the normal operation of the lathe and reduce wear during the maintenance process, all friction parts of the lathe must be lubricated frequently. CNC vertical lathe lubrication methods we commonly used have the following:
1. Manual refueling and lubrication
Lubricating oil or grease is manually added to the friction part for light load, low speed or intermittent work of the friction pair. Such as the guide rail, hanging wheel and roller chain (oil lubrication), toothed chain (brush oil lubrication),dn<0.6*10 * * 6 rolling bearing and ball screw pair (grease lubrication), etc.
2. Drip oil lubrication
Lubricating oil drips into the friction part by its own weight, and is used for small and easily accessible friction pairs such as rolling bearings that require quantitative oil supply, unimportant sliding bearings (circumferential speed <4-5 m/s, light load), chains, Ball screw pair, disc friction clutch with circumferential speed <5 m/s, etc.
3. Oil rope lubrication
The capillary action of the oil rope immersed in the oil or the negative pressure formed by the rotary shaft is used for self-priming lubrication. It is used for medium and low-speed gears. Sliding bearings with small oil demand are installed on the vertical shaft. Medium-speed and light-load rolling bearings, etc.
4. Lubrication with pads
Use the capillary action of the oil pad immersed in the oil or use the negative pressure formed by the rotating shaft for self-priming lubrication, and use it for sliding bearings with a circumferential speed of less than 4 m/s.
5. Self-priming lubrication
Self-priming lubrication is carried out by immersing the negative pressure formed by the rotary shaft, and is used for precision vertical spindle sliding bearings with peripheral speed> 3 m/s and bearing intermittent <0.01mm.

6. Centrifugal lubrication
Under the action of centrifugal force, the lubricating oil flows continuously along the conical surface to the lubrication point for the rolling bearing mounted on the vertical shaft.
7. Oil bath lubrication
Part or all of the friction surface is immersed in lubricating oil and is used for medium and low speed friction pairs, such as closed gears with circumferential speed <12-14 m/s; worms, chains, and rolling bearings with circumferential speed <10 m/s; circumferential speed <12-14 m/s sliding bearings; disc friction clutches with circumferential speed <2 m/s, etc.
8. Oil ring lubrication
Make the rotating parts of the small CNC vertical lathe pass through the oil pool, bring or splash the oil to the lubrication part, and use it for sliding bearings with stable load and rotating speed of 100-2000r/min.
9. Splash lubrication
Make the rotating parts pass through the oil pool, bring or splash the oil to the lubrication part, used for closed gears, rolling bearings that are easy to splash oil, high-speed sliding bearings, roller chains, multi-plate friction clutches, etc.
10. Scraper lubrication
Make the rotating parts pass through the oil pool and bring or splash the oil to the lubrication part for low-speed (30r/min) sliding bearings.
11. Roller lubrication
Make the rotating parts pass through the oil pool and bring or splash the oil to the lubrication part for the guide rail.
12. Spray lubrication
The high pressure oil is injected into the lubrication part of the small numerical control vertical lathe by the oil pump through the nozzle for high-speed rotating rolling bearings.
13. Manual pump pressure oil lubrication
The manual pump is used to send the lubricating oil to the friction surface intermittently. The used lubricating oil is generally no longer recycled and used for guide rails with less oil demand and low refueling frequency.
14. Pressure cycle lubrication
The oil pump is used to send the pressure oil to each friction part, and the used oil is returned to the oil tank for recycling after cooling and filtering, which is used for the lubrication of high-speed, heavy-duty or precision friction pairs, such as rolling bearings, sliding bearings, roller chains and Tooth chain, etc.
15. Automatic timing quantitative lubrication
The lubricating oil is pumped up by an oil pump and periodically sent to various lubricating parts through a quantitative valve for guide rails on machine tools with a high degree of automation such as CNC machine tools.
16. Oil mist lubrication
Use compressed air to spray the lubricating oil from the nozzle, atomize it and then send it to the friction surface, and make it precipitate in a saturated state, so that the friction surface is adhered with a thin oil film, which plays a lubricating role and also plays a cooling role. Greatly reduce the temperature of the friction pair. Used for high-speed (dn<1 million), light-load small and medium-sized rolling bearings, high-speed rotary ball screws, toothed chains, closed gears, guide rails, etc. Generally used for closed chamber, so that the oil mist is not easy to run away.
