PE cutting board molding process
1、Feeding: Put an appropriate amount of molding material into the mold as required. The amount of material added is directly related to the density and size of the product. It is not acceptable to add more or less.
2、closed mold: After the material is added, the mold is closed, the sliding block of the PE cutting board forming hydraulic press slides down, and then the mold is heated and pressed to form plastic cutting boards of different shapes under certain temperature and pressure.
3、Exhaust: After the PE plastic reacts to the appropriate time in the mold cavity, exhaust work is required, which can reduce the curing time, improve the physical and mechanical properties of the product, and avoid bubbles in the product.
4、Curing: The curing time of PE plastic cutting board is equal to the holding time, usually in a few seconds to half an hour. Too long and too short will have a bad effect on the product.
5、Demoulding: Eject the pressed product out of the mold through the ejection cylinder for demoulding.
The thickness of the PE cutting board determines the tonnage and pressure holding time of the PE cutting board forming hydraulic press required by the customer. The thickness of the cutting board is 5-6cm, which generally requires 29 minutes of pressure holding. The thinner cutting board takes only about 2 minutes to complete, and the thickness of more than 4cm takes 5-6 minutes to maintain pressure. The PE cutting board produced has accurate size, smooth surface, one-time molding, high production efficiency, and stable product quality, suitable for mass production.
